Prayer and worship have been offered on the site occupied by St Mary-le-Bow for over a thousand years. St Mary-le-Bow is an active church serving all who work in and visit the City of London. The church opens at 7.30am each weekday, an oasis of peace and stillness in the City. Enquiries about baptism, confirmation, marriage, funerals, confessions, counselling etc may be made at the vestry or via the 'Contact' link
Monday to Wednesday: 7.30am-6.00pm; Thursday: 7.30am-6.30pm; Friday: 7.30am-4.00pm;
usually closed on weekends (please enquire) and bank holidays. Guided tours are available in the summer.
Assisted disabled access to the church is now available at the west door

We marked the 50th Anniversary of the re-casting and ringing of Bow Bells, which inauguration HRH The Prince Philip performed on 21st December 1961. The service took place in the outer vestibule, under the tower.

Admiral Arthur Phillip was baptised at
All Hallows’ Bread Street, now part of this parish, and led the First Fleet to land at Sydney in 1788. All welcome
