About JustShare
This JustShare debate will examine whether, and if so how, inequality affects young people growing up today. Does inequality deny children, both within the UK and globally, ‘a good childhood?’ What might be the consequences of this for the future? One of the speakers will be Professor Richard Wilkinson, Professor of Social Epidemiology at the University of Nottingham Medical School and author of ‘The Impact of Inequality: How to Make Sick Societies Healthier.’ The second speaker will be confirmed shortly. The debate takes place in the context of the Children’s Society’s Good Childhood Inquiry and the St Paul’s Institute programme: ‘A Good Childhood? Growing Up in the 21st Century.’ All welcome. Feel free to contact justshare@stmarylebow.org.uk should you have any queries.
