Prayer and worship have been offered on the site occupied by St Mary-le-Bow for over a thousand years. St Mary-le-Bow is an active church serving all who work in and visit the City of London. The church opens at 7.30am each weekday, an oasis of peace and stillness in the City. Enquiries about baptism, confirmation, marriage, funerals, confessions, counselling etc may be made at the vestry or via the ‘Contact’ link.
Monday to Wednesday: 7.30am-6.00pm; Thursday: 7.30am-6.30pm; Friday: 7.30am-4.00pm;
usually closed on weekends (please enquire) and bank holidays. Guided tours are available in the summer.
Assisted access to the church is now available at the west porch from the Churchyard.

Our neighbours Aberdeen Global Asset Management sponsor 2012 Cowes Week (11th - 18th August) and by way of celebration 'moored' their 27-foot dragon boat on Bow Churchyard on the 17th July. Prizes were on offer to the most successful entrants in a grinding competition - simulating the effort required to raise a sail in racing conditions. See pictures here
