JustShare is a coalition of churches and development agencies seeking to engage with the City of London on issues of global economic injustice. JustShare holds regular debates, training seminars and other events to promote justice for the poorest in the world and a just share of the world's resources for all.
These lectures explore how the concept of 'justice' has been interpreted by Cristian social and political thinkers historically, and what it might mean in the City and society more widely today. The series was inaugurated by Tony Benn in 2009.
An occasional series of lunchtime dialogues provoking lively debate between two public personalities on an issue of urgent contemporary concern, presented in association with Continuum Books.The inaugural Dialogue in 2009 featured Peter Hitchens and Jonathan Aitken tackling the subject 'Truth and Politics'.
