Admiral Arthur Phillip was born in the City of London and a bust in St Mary-le-Bow
commemorates his achievements as first Governor of New South Wales
and the founder of the new Nation of Australia.

Recently at St Mary-le-Bow

In December, as well as welcoming over 200 people to the Parish Christmas Carol Service, we hosted 13 carol services for livery companies, schools and firms.

In November we welcomed the new Lord Mayor - with the Rector as Chaplain - pictures here

In September we welcomed people of other faiths to an evening of Scriptural Reasoning

In September we helf the annual Costermongers' Harvest Festival and the Bishop of Stepney preached.

In September we welcomed around a thousand visitors through the church doors during London Open House weekend and gave guided tours to 200 people.

In July we hosted LIVE in the Churchyard - two nights of live music, food and drink. See pictures here
